You can also use the product with a separately purchased license of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, 2005 or 2003. This will allow you to develop, build and run Fortran applications without the purchase of additional Microsoft software.
If, at the end of evaluation, you choose to purchase a Commercial or Academic license for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows, you will then be able to download a full version of the product that includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell and Libraries*. This will allow for full functionality of the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows during your evaluation. If you do not already have a supported Microsoft development product installed, you may download a free 90-day trial version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008* from Microsoft. Please see the System Requirements in the Release Notes for more information. In order to install and use the Evaluation version of the Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler for Windows product, you must have already installed a supported Microsoft development product.
